IPA 2008 Enhancing the capacities of the civil society sector for monitoring of the implementation of the EU acquis
Calls for Proposals published:
1. Enhancing the participation of the CSOs in monitoring of the implementation of the EU Acquis, in the field of fight against corruption and the overall transparency, openness and accountability of public administration bodies
The overall objective was to foster structured dialogue and formalized consultation between Croatian CSOs and Croatian state administration/ EU institutions within the process of shaping, monitoring and evaluation of public policies at the national and EU level.
Achieved result is increased effectiveness of the CSOs and their partner organizations and institutions in undertaking independent monitoring and advocacy initiatives focused on greater transparency and accountability of public administration and fight against corruption.
2. Enhancing the capacities / roles of the CSOs in monitoring of the implementation of the EU Acquis in field of the comprehensive anti-discrimination strategy
The overall objective was to foster structured dialogue and formalized consultation between Croatian CSOs and Croatian state administration/ EU institutions within the process of shaping, monitoring and evaluation of public policies at the national and EU level.
Achieved result is increased effectiveness of the CSOs and their partner organizations in independent monitoring and advocacy initiatives focused on comprehensive anti-discrimination policy (age, health status, ethnic origin, sex / sexual orientation, social or economic status, gender, etc.) at the national and regional level, assuring an open and accountable process of decision-making, implementation and evaluation.
3. Developing capacities of CSOs for systematic monitoring and advocacy of sustainable development policies and integrated approaches to waste and water management, transport, regional development, sustainable use of natural resources and environmental safety
The overall objective was to foster structured dialogue and formalized consultation between Croatian CSOs and Croatian state administration/ EU institutions within the process of shaping, monitoring and evaluation of public policies at the national and EU level.
Achieved result is increased effectiveness of the Croatian CSOs in systematic monitoring and advocacy in respect to sustainable development policies and integrated approaches to waste and water management, transport, regional development, sustainable use of natural resources and environmental safety.
