On 6th April 2022 the representatives of the Ministry of Information and Social Development and the civil society organizations from Kazakhstan visited the Croatian Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs.
The meeting was held within the study visit to the Republic of Croatia on the topic “
Legal and Institutional Mechanism for CSO/Government interaction in Croatia”, organized in the second year of the implementation of the Rule of Law Programme in Kazakhstan and financed by the USAID.
The members of the delegation were acquainted with the domain of the Office, the legal, institutional and financial framework for the activities of civil society in Croatia, with the focus on the state budget and EU grants provided to civil society organizations (CSOs), as well as on the role of the Office in establishing the monitoring and evaluation system of projects and programmes of CSOs financed from the state budget, EU funds and other public sources, consultations with the interested public and in providing technical support to the Council for Civil Society Development and the Council of the Open Government Partnership global initiative.
