Croatian Government adopted Report on Council of the Civil Society Development for 2013 and the Decision on amendments of Decision on establishing of the Council for the Civil Society Development
Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted the Report on the work of the Council for the Civil Society Development at the 156 session, held on 15 May 2014.
At the same session the Decision on amendments of Decision of the Council establishment was also adopted due to increasing of the number of members/deputy members for two more from among the representatives of the National Foundation for the Civil Society Development and the CSOs acting in the field of consumers' protection. Having in mind that the representatives of the National Foundation have already participated at the Council’s sessions, according to need, it is expected that the permanent membership would contribute to better connection, as well as promotion and support to the development of the civil society in Croatia. In addition, according to the growing need to supporting citizens in protection of their consumers' rights, the new area of acting in the Council has been introduced under the title "consumers' rights". The member and the deputy member will be elected by the suggestion of associations and other CSOs acting in the area of consumers’ protection, according to the procedure prescribed in the Council’s Rules.
