Public Call for Expression of Interest for Participation in the Programe of Education of Experts for Evaluations of the Public Tenders of the State Administrative Bodies and the Projects and Programmes of the Civil Society Organizations Financed by the State Budget Funds

In accordance with the Code of Good Practice, Standards and Benchmarks for the Allocation of Funding for Programmes and Projects of NGOs (Official Gazette, 16/2007), the Office for Cooperation with NGOs in cooperation with the Council for Civil Society Development is in charge of monitoring, analyzing and evaluation of state budget funds endorsed by the state administrative bodies – providers of financial grants to projects and programmes of the civil society organizations (CSOs). With a view to improve the system of monitoring of the implementation, assessment and evaluation of results of the implemented projects and programmes of the CSOs, the Office for Cooperation with NGOs intends to set up and educate a team of experts (evaluators) for evaluation of the state administrative bodies’ tenders as well as the projects and programmes of CSOs which are financed by the state budget funds.

Office for Cooperation with NGOs in cooperation with the Council for Civil Society Development and the Council for Civil Society Development calls for all interested individuals experienced in the field of evaluation of results of projects and programmes of CSOs which are financed by the state budget funds to apply for participation in the programme of education of experts for evaluation of state administrative bodies’ tenders and the projects and programmes of CSOs financed by the state budget funds. After that, the special commission will select 25 participants of the programme of education and potential members of the future team of evaluators. 

The selected participants of the programme of education are expected to be available in the period from 30 September and 3 November 2008. You may apply for participation in the programme by filling in the application form (in Croatian) and sending it to the following address: Ured za udruge Vlade Republike Hrvatske, Ul. grada Vukovara 78, 10 000 Zagreb. The deadline for application is 31 July 2008.
