ESF Call for Proposals “Support to the volunteering organizers for the improvement of volunteer management and the implementation of volunteering programs”

On July 14th 2016 the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs announced the Call for Project Proposals “Support to the volunteering organizers for the improvement of volunteer management and the implementation of volunteering programs”.

This Call is open under the European Social Fund, the Operational Program Efficient Human Resources 2014-2020, Priority axis 4, Specific objective 11.ii.1 The development of CSO capacities, namely associations and social partners, and building a civil and social dialogue for better governance.

The General objective is to improve the contribution of volunteering to the implementation of reforms for social and economic growth. The Specific objectives are the following: 1. Improving the capacities of volunteering organizers for efficient volunteer management in order to improve the quality of services of public interest, and 2. Increasing the number of quality and sustainable volunteering programs, as well as programs for school volunteering and education for volunteering.

The eligible applicants are civil society organizations (CSOs): associations, foundations, legal entities of religious communities registered as non-profit organizations, while the eligible partners are CSOs: associations, foundations, legal entities of religious communities registered as non-profit organizations, educational institutions (primary and secondary schools, dorms), public social welfare and health care institutions, public environment protection institutions, social cooperatives registered as non-profit organizations, as well as local and regional self-government units.

The total financial allocation within this Call for Project Proposals is estimated at 27.000.000,00 HRK, and the potential applicants and partners are not obliged to ensure co-financing from their own resources.
The application deadline is September 19th 2016.

The Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs will hold a dissemination workshop on July 27th 2016, at which the purpose and the requirements of this Call will be further explained. We kindly ask you to register for your participation at the workshop by filling in the form by July 25th 2016, 2 p.m. The confirmation of the acceptance of your registration will be sent no later than one day prior to the day of the workshop. There will also be a live broadcast of the workshop, so that a large number of people outside Zagreb can be informed and actively participate. There is no registration for participating in the workshop via live broadcast.
