Consultations on calls for proposals within the European Social Fund held

With the aim of ensuring quality preparation for use of financial resources of the European Social Fund, on 23 April 2015 the Croatian Government's Office for Cooperation with NGOs held public consultation with interested civil society organisations' representatives regarding the indicative plan of calls for proposals, that are planned to be published in 2015. 
More than 80 participants, mainly representatives of civil society organisations, participated in consultation, discussing on planned calls for proposals/grant schemes:
 
• Support to the organizers of volunteering for implementation of programmes for educating volunteer coordinators in CSOs and public institutions
• Support to development of CSO and higher education institutions partnerships for implementation of service learning programmes
• Strengthening contribution of CSOs to implementation of civic education and training programmes - Phase 1
• Support to the partner innovative projects of civil, public and business sector for reuse of open public data and development of ICT/mobile applications for quality civic participation in local decision process - Phase 1
• Spaces of participation - development of publicly owned spaces refurbishment through OCD and local community partnership - Phase 1
 
The participants were also informed on potential additional calls for proposals that the Office plans to publish:
 
• Strengthening capacities of CSOs for implementation of treatments within the frame of execution of criminal sanctions and implementation of post-penal acceptance and resocialization
• Cooperation of CSOs and local authorities for participatory management of budgetary processes
