Council Regulation of establishing the "Europe for Citizens" programme for the period 2014-2020
Council of the European Union adopted the Regulation of establishing the "Europe for Citizens" programme for the period 2014-2020 on the session held on 14 April 2014. This Regulation comes into force after it is published in the Official Gazzette of the EU. The new Programme Guide can be found here.
Newly established Programme consists out of two strands:
Strand 1 – European remembrance – dealine for submission 4 June 2014
Strand 2 – Democratic Engagement and Civic Participation
This Strand encompasses the following measures:
1. Town Twinning – deadlines for submission of project proposals 4 June and 1 September 2014
2. Networks of Towns – deadlines for submission of project proposals 4 June and 1 September 2014
3. Civil Society Projects – deadline for submission of project proposals 1 September 2014
Representatives of the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs, acting as the National Contact Point for the Programme, organize workshops across Croatia on regularly basis in order to present funding possibilities to potential applicants and provide them with technical assistance in writing project proposals.
