Decision on Criteria and the Procedure of Providing NGOs with the Right of use of the State Owned Property for Implementing Projects and Programmes in the Interest of Public Benefit

Commission that manages properties owned by the Republic of Croatia adopted the new Decision on the criteria, standards and procedures for the allocation of premises to civil society organizations for implementation of programs and projects in the interest of public benefit.

Decision regulates criteria, standards and procedures for allocations of the properties owned by Croatia to civil society organizations for the implementation of programs and projects in the interest of public benefit. Civil society organizations include associations, foundations, artistic organizations and institutions that are not established as a public institutions that are acquiring profit.

Transparent procedure for awarding state-owned premises and properties for state and local and regional owned governments was established for civil society organizations implementing programs and projects in the interest of public benefit, which is also one of the measures stated in the National Strategy for the Creation of an Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development from 2012 to 2016.
