EESC 2015 Civil Society Prize Competition for the best European civil society projects

European Economic and Social Committee launched a competition for the 2015 Civil Society Prize which will reward the best projects in the area of combatting poverty.


The prize is worth 50.000 euros and is expected to ensure wide promotion and visibility for all selected finalists.
 
The overall objective of the EESC prize is raising awareness of the substantial contribution of the civil society organisations and/or individuals they have in creating European identity and citizenship by supporting the common values that underpin European integration. Within this year's special theme which is „combatting poverty“, the initiatives aim at improving of economic and social inclusion of people living in poverty, bearing in mind the increasing risk of facing poverty in Europe, will be awarded.
 
The applications should be submitted in English and French, not later than 10 September 2015.
