Europe for Citizens 2014 – 2020 programme : „Connecting Neighbors 2019 – writing the EU story toghether“

The Office of the Government of the Republic of Croatia for Cooperation with NGOs, as the national contact point of the Europe for Citizens Program 2014-2020, organized with regional partners a regional networking of organizations in Sarajevo, 22 - 24 October 2019.

A regional workshop and networking of organizations within the Europe for Citizens 2014-2020 programme called "Connecting Neighbors 2019 - Writing the EU story together", organized by the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs together with partners - national contact points from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Montenegro, was held in Sarajevo at the Holiday Inn Hotel from 22nd October to 24th October 2019. The event was organized with the aim of networking potential partners from the region and the best possible joint preparation of project proposals for the 2020 Program Calls for proposals. Throughout the lectures, 45 participants from partner countries received information on the content of the program, its measures, multi-year priorities, the technical preparation of project proposals and the basics of project management. Through interactive exercises and business speed dating, the networking of organizations was initiated. Also, in total 8 project proposals were prepared working in groups and presented to all participants, with expert commenting by representatives of contact points from Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia Željka Markulin, Sanja Atanaskovic Opačić and Darje Sekula Krstič.
