Europe for Citizens Programme – results of the conducted research on the attitudes of workshops for potential applicants participants

Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs has been acting as the National Contact point for Europe for Citizens Programme since 2008. The role of the Contact point encompasses the Programme promotion in the Republic of Croatia and provision of technical and advisory assistance to potential applicants in drafting and making application of project proposals to annual calls for proposals under this Programme.
During 2014 and 2015, in cooperation with the organizations on local level, the Office organized 18 informative workshops and one regional forum for drafting project ideas. The National Contact point staff answer the questions of potential applicants on a regular basis, and advise them while drafting project proposals, and applications to call for proposals respectively.
In order to improve the quality of technical and advisory support provided daily to potential applicants, and thus the quality of future project proposals, the National Contact point has decided to evaluate its activities made so far.
The 22-question survey has been designed and sent to more than 600 e-mail addresses of informative workshops participants in 2014 and 2015. Through this questionnaire, the intention is to find out the provisional number and legal status of organizations that submitted their application by the first deadline for Call for Proposals in 2015, to get the information on their partners' country of origin, on challenges the organizations were facing with while submitting the project proposals, and in what extent they were satisfied with the provided technical and advisory support, as well as to receive their proposals for enhancement of the National Contact point work.
The results of the survey can be found here.
