Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Launched a Call for Proposals for Island-based NGOs
On 27 June, the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure launched a call for proposals for projects that will bring new ideas, models of development and/or modes of solving the existent problems in regard to the sustainable development of Croatian islands. NGOs may apply maximum two projects at a time, while the highest amount of allocated resources for individual project will not exceed 30.000 kn. The duration of the project is one year, beginning on 1 September 2008. The deadline for application is 20 days as of the launch of the Call.
All registered island-based NGOs whose activities are of public benefit are eligible. Along with all general guidelines, all applicants should meet all special conditions prescribed in the Guidelines for Project Applications which may be obtained in the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, the Directorate for Island and Coastal Development on the following addresses: Zagreb , Prisavlje 14, III floor, room 318, and Split, Antofagaste Street 6, every working day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., as well as on the Ministry’s website www.mmpi.hr. . All interested NGOs should apply their projects on the prescribed application forms along with the detailed description of the project proposals. Apart from the original, one should enclose 1 copy (2 overall) of complete project documentation.
