New deadlines for the submission of applications for the Europe for Citizens Program 2020 Calls for proposals

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency has announced new deadlines for the submission of project applications for tenders in 2020.

For sub-program 1. European Remembrance, as before, there is only one deadline for applications, but it moves to February, the 4th and projects must start between September, the 1st of the current year and February, the 28th, 2021.

Sub-programme 2. Democratic engagement and civic participation also saw changes:
• For measure 1. Town twinning, the first application deadline has changed and is now February, the 4^th , and projects must start between July, the 1st of the current year and March, 31st, 2021.
The second deadline for applying for this measure remains on September, the 1st and is unchanged. The projects must start between February, the 1st and October, the 31st of the following year.

For measure 2.2. Networking of cities, the first application deadline is set for March, the 3^rd , while the second application deadline remains September, the 1^st , but the eligibility period for project activities for the application deadline has been modified:
• For the March application deadline, projects must start between September, the 1^st of the current year and February, the 28^th  of the following year.
• For the September application deadline, projects must start between February, the 1^st  and August the 31^st of the following year.

For measure 2.3. Civil Society Projects, there is only one deadline for submitting project applications and it is September, the 1st. Projects for this deadline must start between March, the 1^st and August, the 31^st of the following year.

All applications must be submitted before 5:00 pm (Brussels time). If the application deadline falls on the weekend, the deadline for the submission of applications is the first next working day. All the above dates should be confirmed in the Call for Proposals.
