Public Call “Communication Support to the Associations’ Community Services Programmes”

Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs (GOfNGOs) in cooperatin with the Croatian Association for Public Relations, invites the associations, that will promote their activities within the NGOs Open Days 2025 to apply to

 
Activities of the civil society organisations are very important on the local and regional level due to their contribution to finding best solutions since they know and take into consideration local needs and interests, work on building trust, strengthening citizens’ participation, social networks and support in building good community relations. Cooperation with CSOs in implementation of public policies is most commonly realized through various forms of financial and non-financial support providing by public authority bodies to projects and programmes of common good interest. This kind of inter-sectoral cooperation has the great potential for creation of series of positive changes and synergies needed for a sustainable social and economic development.
 
Local organisations are the organisations acting in the local communities or are active on the local level. They usually have no employees, have irregular and/or very small income and insufficient capacity and lack of information about funding opportunities. Also, those organisations may have experience in managing small projects funded mostly by national sources, but don’t have experience in implementing big projects nor experience in managing EU and international funds which often need co-financing.
This Public Call is intended to increase visibility of working associations in the named areas. It give possibilities to associations for getting expert communication support in promotion of activities that they already implement so as contribute to the development of local communities in Croatia.
Activities, which will be supported by this Public Call, have to be implemented in the period from 1^st July to 31^st December 2025. Moreover, the associations that apply to this Public Call have to participate on the NGOs Open Days 2025.
 
GOfNGOs will reward three associations with the financial support amounted to EUR 4.000,00. Also, the Croatian Association for Public Relations will provide expert communication support by the public relations consultant in the design and implementation of media and communication plans for promoting activities they implement to contribute to the local communities development in Croatia.
 
The conditions for applying to the Call and the Award criteria are defined in the Guidelines for Applicants.
