Public debate on the Draft Strategy of the Government for Cooperation with Civil Society 2018-2020 and the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Strategy held in Bitola

After a discussion on the Draft Strategy of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation and Development of Civil Society 2018-2020 and the Action Plan for Implementing the Strategy was held in Skopje on Monday, 16^th of April 2018, the process of consultation with the interested public continued with a public debate held in Bitola.
On Thursday 19^th of April 2018 more than 20 representatives of civil society organizations and representatives of state administration bodies discussed the Draft Strategy of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation and Development of Civil Society 2018-2020 and the Action Plan for Implementing the Strategy by providing concrete suggestions and comments on the aforementioned draft documents. The public debate was moderated by Ms Marina Lochert Šoštarić from the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs and Ms Suzana Nikodijević Filipovska from the Unit for Cooperation with NGOs - General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. The public debate was also attended by the members of the project team of the Twinning light project "Further institutionalization of the structured mechanism for cooperation between the Government and the civil society", who had drafted the Action Plan for Implementation of the Government Strategy for Cooperation with Civil Society 2018-2020.

The process of consultation with the interested public is open until 30th of April 2018, which is the deadline for submitting opinions and proposals on the Draft Strategy of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation and Development of Civil Society 2018-2020 and the Action Plan for Implementing the Strategy via e-mail: nvosorabotka@gs.gov.mk.
