Second Session of the Interdepartmental Commission for Coordinating the Policy for Financing NGO Projects and Programmes from the Croatian State Budget
On Wednesday, 5 September 2012 the second session of the Interdepartmental Commission for Coordinating the Policy for Financing NGO Projects and Programmes from the Croatian State Budget took place at the Croatian Government building. The session was chaired by Igor Vidačak, PhD, Head of the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs, as mandated by the Deputy Prime Minister Milanka Opačić.
The discussions focused on the sector analyses of Ministries and other institutions which finance NGO projects and programmes. A proposal of the Plan of calls for proposals for CSO projects and programmes in 2013 on the level of state authority bodies was presented. It was drawn up on the basis of submitted sector analyses.
A Proposal for the allocation of the apportionment of the games of chance revenue 2013 was also presented to the participants of the meeting which was drawn up by the Office for Cooperation with NGOs based on the analyses of priority sectoral issues which are planned to be resolved in 2013 in cooperation with NGOs/CSOs and according to proposed funds for specific calls for proposals, public invitations for proposals and public needs which are stated in the law. Following the response of all bodies to this Proposal, the Ministry of Finance shall draw up the Proposal of the Decree on the Criteria for Selection of Beneficiaries and the Manner of Allocating the Apportionment of Games of Chance Revenue for 2013 in parallel with the state budget.
