"Strengthening Croatian-Swiss Partnerships for Local Social and Economic Growth and Development" - results of the selection procedure

A list of projects selected for financing available in English.

In March 2019, the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs has published the Decision on Financing 6 projects selected under the Call "Strengthening Croatian-Swiss Partnerships for Local Social and Economic Growth and Development".
The total value of the projects is: 7.527.656,90 kunas.
The list of projects included in the mentioned Decision:

Lot 1 – projects focused on providing support to local social and economic development: 

1. Project „Partnership for Social and Solidaryit Economy“ – Applicant Udruga Zelena mreža aktivističkih grupa (ZMAG), and partners Chambre de l'Economie Sociale et Solidaire, City of Ludbreg and City of Pregrada 
2. Project „Strengthening the capacity of Croatian Mountain Rescue Service for search operations through the use of thermal-equipped unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)​“ Applicant Hrvatska gorska služba spašavanja – Stanica Zagreb and partner REDOG (Swiss Disaster Dog Association) 
3. Project „Partners for Nature“ – Applicant Udruga Zelena akcija and partners Pro Natura/Friends of the Earth Switzerland, Javna ustanova za upravljanje zaštićenim područjima i drugim zaštićenim dijelovima prirode na području Zagrebačke županije Zeleni prsten, Park prirode Lastovsko otočje and Međimurska priroda – Javna ustanova za zaštitu prirode 
4. Project „CROCHET“ – Applicant Udruga IPE – Institut za političku ekologiju and partners NetHood Association, Pravo na grad, Zelena akcija i Savez udruga Operacija grad
5. Project „Together“ – Applicant Udruga za rad s mladima Breza and partners BEO Heimgarten, Verein Berghof Stärenegg and Center for Social Welfare Vukovar 
6. Project „CROSS WORK – Global citizenship education partnership“ – Applicant Udruga za promicanje IKS and partner Stifung Kinderdorf Pestalozzi / Pestalozzi Children's Foundations. 

In April 2019, the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs has published the second Decision on Financing 3 projects selected under the Call.
The total value of the projects is: 4.209.342,62 kunas.
The list of projects included in the mentioned Decision:

Lot 1 – projects focused on providing support to local social and economic development: 

1. Project "Teach them for their future: support and empowerment of teachers and principals for building sustainable and democratic schools" - Applicant Forum za slobodu odgoja and partners Center for Peace Studies - CPS, GONG, Verein MUNTERwegs - VMW, Krapina-Zagorje County, City of Rijeka

Lot 2 – projects focused on focused on improving road traffic safety:

1. Project „Sustainable safety of non-motorized transport in urban areas​“ – Applicant Udruga ODRAZ – Održivi razvoj zajednice and partners Fakultet prometnih znanosti, NGO „Sindikat biciklista“ and Pro Velo Švicarska .
2. Project „Take a brake!“ – Applicant Udruga RODA and partners CareCross for Health and Environment Švicarska, University Sjever, City of Koprivnica, City of Zaprešić and Municipality Bale – Comune di Valle.

After closing the selection procedure within this Call, as well as within the “Strengthening the Contribution of Civil Society Organisations in Sustainable Development Education for the Improvement of Economic and Social Cohesion” Call, a joint event will be organised to present the contracted projects to the wider public.
