Study visit of the representatives of the Srbian CSOs and the Government of the Republic of Serbia

Within the program “Dialogue of Change – support to CSOs”, funded by the EU funds #EU for you, members of the Belgrade Open School (BOŠ) delegation visited the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs (GOfNGOs) from 31 May to 3 June 2022.

This support program is intended for projects of civil society organizations aimed at dialogue, problem solving and positive changes in public policies. 23 representatives of civil society organizations and the Government of the Republic of Serbia had the opportunity to learn about the scope of the GOfNGOs and its experience in creating a supportive environment development of civil society, as well as the role of the Office as a National Contact Point for the new Union program “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values” (CERV) 2021-2027.
 
As part of the study visit, members of the delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work and activities of civil society organizations in the Republic of Croatia working in the fields of human rights, public advocacy and policy making, sustainable development, development and promotion of education and lifelong learning, as well as the local community development.
 
The members of the delegation also participated in the Conference “The role and contribution of associations in resolving crisis situations and building new models of assistance and support” held as part of the 2022 NGOs Open Days.
