The Call Strengthening of the CSOs Capacities for Promotion of STEM presented in Karlovac

The citizens of the Town of Karlovac and the Karlovac County learned more about the Call at the informative and educational event “EU FUNDS - New Opportunities 2021-2027” organised by the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.

“EU FUNDS - New Opportunities 2021 - 2027” is the name of a series of events intended for representatives of local and regional self-government units, regional and local development agencies, beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries of the funds from the EU funds as well as the regional and local development stakeholders in order to be better informed with the national and local development opportunities.

During this event organised in Monday (1 July 2024) in Karlovac, the actual opportunities of funding development projects within the Cohesion Policy in the financial period 2021-2027 were presented to the guests, especially the new programmes Concurrency and Cohesion 2021-2027 (CC) and Integrated Territorial Programme 2021-2027 (ITP). The ITU Mechanism of the Karlovac urban area, the opportunities provided within the process of industrial transition of Croatian regions, the Programme of Transnational Cooperation Euro-MED and the Call for a new project EmBrace, the Urban Development Fund were presented as well.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds Spomenka Đurić, the Prefect of the Karlovac County Martina Furdek Hajdin and the Mayor of the Town of Karlovac Damir Mandić attended the event. The Call “Strengthening of the CSOs Capacities from Promotion of STEM” was also presented within this informative and educational event. Helena Beus, authorised for performing duties of the Head of the GOfNGOs and Luka Bogdan, the Deputy of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development Director presented this Call to those present.
