The Constituent Session of the eighth convocation of the Council of the Civil Society Development (CCSD) was held

At the Session, the president of the Council, Mr. Danko Relić, was elected.

The eight convocation of the CCSD held its 1st (constituent) Session on 22 January 2024 at the National and University Library.
At the Session attended were 35 to 37 representatives of the public authorities, civil society organisations and foundations, trade unions and national association of the local and regional self-government.
 
After discussion the CCSD Rules of Procedures was adopted and the president was elected.
 
Mr. Danko Relić, the representative of the associations in the area of health protection and improving the quality of life and Mr Nikola Tadić, regarding the area of persons with disabilities care ran for the position of President of the Council. After the presentation of the candidates, voting followed. Mr Danko Relić was elected as the President of the Council.
