The public consultation lasts until November 30, 2020.

In early September, the European Commission launched a public consultation on agriculture and rural development, with the aim of developing a long-term vision for rural development. In order to realize such a vision, it is necessary to assess what life is like in rural areas of Europe and to determine what is crucial for their well-being. This public consultation will contribute to this process by gathering Europeans' perceptions and views on a range of issues, including the following:

1. today's needs of rural areas
2. what makes rural areas attractive?,
3. opportunities for the future of rural areas,
4. management in rural areas.

Given the fact that more than 70% of the territory of Croatia is rural area, they believe that the participation of Croatian stakeholders in the consultation would be very useful, so we hereby invite you to fill out a questionnaire available at https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/better-regulation/have-your-say/initiatives/12525-Long-term-vision-for-rural-areas/public-consultation

The deadline for completing the questionnaire is November 30, 2020.
