The publication on public consultation process in Croatia released

The publication named "The challenge of making public consultations meaningful in Croatia" was created by the researchers from the Michelsen Institute. 

The case study on the system of consultations with the interested public in the Republic of Croatia, in procedures of enacting laws, other regulations and acts, was made within the international Open Government Partnership initiative, and it presents the development of the public consultation system in the Republic of Croatia, as well as the key achievements and challenges in the system.

Within this case study, the researchers from the Michelsen Institute visited the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs, and the successful cooperation between the state and the civil sector in Croatia was named as one of the key factors for the success of the public consultation process.
