According to the latest annual research on the implementation of the Right of Access to Information Act which was conducted by GONG, the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs was ranked among top four most transparent institutions. The seventh in a row annual report on the implementation of the Right of Access to Information Act was presented at the Croatian Parliament on 28 September 2012 as part of a conference entitled Access to Information: a Key to Democracy. The research shows that regarding web site transparency and information contents, the Government is the most transparent institution followed by the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs and the Croatian Employment Service which share the second place, followed by the Ministry of Justice.

The research focused on the areas of active publication of information on web sites and replying to requests for information of a sensitive nature.
Encouraged by the results of the research the GOfCNGOs is going to start improving the contents of its web site in order to make other data on the Office operation to the public as well as its employees in the following weeks.
New Webpage Entitled GOfCNGOs Budget – How Is Your Money Being Spent?
In order to make its work more known to the public, the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs has opened a new webpage on its web site GOCNGOs Budget. In this way, in line with the requirements for fiscal transparency and responsibility and openness of public authority bodies, the Office wishes to enable access to data on all transactions made within the Office Budget to the citizens and the interested public.
Apart from detailed GOfCNGOs budget, the webpage contains the reports on State Budget execution for the previous two years as well as previous reports on the work of GOCNGOs.
