The 7th year in a row presented were to the interested public the Calls for funding the associations’ projects and programmes the ministries, Government offices and other public institutions will publish in the year 2016.
Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs (GOfNGOs) in cooperation with the state administration bodies, Government offices and public institutions - donors - organised Info Days on Calls for funding of CSOs project and programmes from the State Budget and EU funds in the year 2016. The event was held on 16 and 17 May 2016 at the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport Great Hall.
The Info Days were organised on the basis of in total 93 programmes /calls for grants to the CSOs projects and programmes.
It is planned to finance and co-finance more than 6.300 of the CSOs projects and programmes in the area of prevention of violence among children and youth, fight against addiction, social services, volunteering, education, sport, culture, social entrepreneurship, nature and environment protection, agriculture, tourism and others areas of common good interest. The envisaged amount is more than HRK 985 million from the State Budget, a part of the revenue from Gambling and EU funds in the year 2016.
During the whole event the live broadcast was enabled in order to informing and enable active participation as greater as possible number of interested associations outside Zagreb. All the interested could ask questions to the e mail address and that way be actively included in the discussion. The interest for the Info Days was great this year as well and more than 100 participants attended the event, while more than 2.500 followers were on the internet in a moment.
