Call to proposing representatives of CSOs to the Steering Committee for the programme Civil Society as a part of the Second Swiss Contribution

Public Call was open on 1 August 2024.

Within the Swiss-Croatian Cooperation Programme - the 2nd Contribution within the competence of the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs (GOfNGOs) for programme Civil Society 7,6 million of Swiss francs have been envisaged.
Call for proposals regarding 4 thematic components will be implemented within the programme Civil Society in the area of education for sustainable development, volunteering, micro projects on local level and service learning.

By the Article 4.11. of the Regulation on implementation of the Second Swiss Contribution to selected EU member stated for the reduction of economic and social inequalities within the European Union, it was determined that the National coordination Unit will establish a Sterring Committee for the Civil Society measure.
 
The Steering Committee performs the following duties:
  • Monitors progress and proposes measures for improving implementation of the programme
  • Approves programme components according to the Articles 4.1. and 4.6. of the Regulation
  • In accordance with the Article 4.12. of the Regulation, approves every change of the programme based on the suggestion of the programme Manager
  • Performs other duties according to the Contract of the Support Measure and the Regulation
 
In accordance with the mentioned Decision the Steering Committee for the Civil Society measure also consists of the CSOs representatives, 2 CSOs representatives in a role of members and two deputies.
 
Important notice: associations whose representatives will participate in work of the mentioned Steering Committee will not be able to apply projects within calls for proposals that will be published as part of the Civil Society measure. This is in accordance with the provisions of conflict of interest prevention based on the Regulation on the Criteria, Standards and Procedures for Financing and Contracting Programmes and Projects of Public Benefit Interest Implemented by Associations (OG 26/15, 37/21).
