Invitation to nominate CSOs representatives for members of Working Group for developing the Draft Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Right to Access to Information
The deadline for submitting the nominations is on Tuesday, 29 October 2024.
The Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation is establishing a Working Group for developing the Draft Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Right to Access to Information.At the end of 2023, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021 - 2027 measure implementation was finalized “Implementation improvements of the Law on the Right to Access to Information”, in responsibility of the Information Commissioner. The assessment of the Law and its impacts on the effective implementation of the Constitutional rights of the Republic of Croatia from the perspective of the beneficiaries and public bodies was done by the team of independent experts. They developed the Final Report on the evaluation of the effects of the Law on the Right to Access Information with recommendations, proposals and theses for the possible improvement of the normative framework for exercising the right to access to information.
The Working Group is establishing with the purpose of changing the Law on the Right to Access Information, aiming at eliminating of defects and improving particular Law institutes, according to the recommendations of the conducted evaluation.
The nomination are to be submitted directly to the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs (GOfNGOs) via e mail to: savjet@udruge.vlada.hr or to the Council for Civil Society Development members - representatives of the associations according to the area of work.
