Three days interactive education program for youth “Open climate” was held

Office for Cooperation with NGOs as partner, has participated in the three days interactive education program for youth “Open climate” in February 2020 together with the Office of the Commissioner for Informing, the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the Republic of Croatia, Impact House and other partners.
 
“Open climate” is the digital policy lab that gave opportunity for young from 14 to 30 year of age from all over the Croatia to work with more than 20 Croatian and European experts in order to influence to the decision makers. During the education they were learning on the skills like online searching, checking of data and information, storytelling, making of solutions for public policies, advocacy and lobbying and the team work and networking, as well.
 
The goal of the education was for the young to explore the solution that they consider important and good for limitation of global warming for integrate them into the public policies of the Republic of Croatia and to do so in discussions with the decision makers.
 
The representative of the Office for NGOs presented to the young participants the Open Government Partnership initiative, as well as the measures being implemented within the Action plan for implementing the OGP initiative in the RoC including the open data, transparency and opening of the public administration to citizens.
