Invitation for proposing priorities for the new National Action Plan of the global Open Government Partnership initiative

Participate in shaping the basis for the future Open Government Partnership (OGP) Action Plan in the Republic of Croatia.

We invite you to get involved in proposing areas, priorities and activities of the future Open Government Partnership National Action Plan, by answering a few questions in a brief questionnaire.
 
The Republic of Croatia (RoC) is the member of the OGP initiative from 2011 and thus declared commitment to the principles of transparency, fight against corruption, strengthening citizens and using the advantages of technology. That, in order for public authorities at all levels to be more efficient and responsible, and to create preconditions for efficient and innovative provision of public services, i.e. management of public resources.
 
The Croatia has implemented four National Action Plans (NAP) so far and is in the process of drafting the fifth OGP NAP for the period 2025 - 2026. The Council of the OGP initiative has been responsible for preparation of the Action Plan and eventually for its implementation.
 
We would like to emphasize the Global Strategy of OGP initiative 2023 - 2028 has defined the following strategic goals, to which all participants should contribute:
  1. Building of connected communities in which different sectors work together on reforms;
  2. Spreading the open government principle to all levels (local, regional, national), as well as all branches of government (executive, legislative, judicial)
  3. Protection and broadening the space for civic engagement
  4. Speeding up of collective progress in reforms in the area of open government
  5. Collecting information on innovations and successful stories

We invite citizens, associations and all the interested public to pointing out problems, i.e. proposing areas and priorities, as well as potential activities as basis for preparing the fifth OGP NAP in the RoC by filling the short questionnaire.
