In accordance with the requirements of fiscal transparency and accountability and openness of the public authorities, on this site we would like to inform you on the budget of the Office for Cooperation with NGOs. In addition to the information on the planned revenues and expenditures, the citizens and the public in this way are also provided with an insight into all transactions from the budget of the Office.
The budget of the Office for Cooperation with NGOs, as part of the budget item of the Croatian Government, fits into the strategic priorities of the Government to support the creation of enabling environment for civil society development.
Since the establishment of the Office in 1998, the budget of the Office is continuously changed, taking into account the new circumstances in which civil society organizations operate, but also in view of the change in the system of financing of projects and programs from the State Budget, as well as new possibilities for financing projects and programs of civil society organizations from EU funds.
The budget of the Office for Cooperation with NGOs consists of four types of income:
The form for submitting the comments, recommendations and suggestions was created in order to make possible to the citizens and other interested public to actively participate in the process of creating of national budget. It is related to the new GOfNGOs’ draft financial plan. Comments and suggestions are to be given to the latest adopted financial plan and they are considered when drafting a new financial plan for the next three-year period. - Revenues from European Social Fund,
- Revenue from the financial mehanism of the Swiss Contribution to the European Union Enlargement
- EU assistance for the work Contact Points for the programme Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV).
