European OGP Outreach and Support Meeting, Dubrovnik, 4-5 October

The European OGP Outreach and Support Meeting will be held on 4th and 5th October 2012 in Dubrovnik. The meeting is convened jointly by Croatian civil society organisations and Government, in cooperation with the United Kingdom Cabinet Office as OGP co-chair, with the support of the European Union Project of Technical Assistance to Civil Society Organizations (TACSO).

As the stronger involvement of civil society in all OGP activities is one of the pre-requisites for successful implementation of national OGP action plans, the purpose of the meeting is to provide space for discussion and exchange of experiences between civil society organizations and governments about the progress of implementation of the national OGP action plans and to share developments and best practices. All sessions will be moderated by representatives from civil society and academic community.
