Reporting and Recovery of funds

Based on the Article 10th of the applicable Rules of co-financing of the CSOs projects contracted within the EU programmes and foreign funds for the year 2019, the Beneficiary, i.e. the Partner on the project from the Republic of Croatia (RoC) is obliged to submit to the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs (GOfNGOs) the notice of the approval of the Final Report by the Contraction Authority (CA) and the copy of the approved Final Report on the project implementation within 30 days after the Final Report is approved by the CA (print of  the copy of the approved Report, approved versions of the narrative and financial part of the Report in electronic version and all promotional material produced during the project implementation).
 
The Beneficiary, i.e. Partner on the project from the RoC is obliged to provide all additional content and administrative information on the project, as well as all financial documentation, to the GOfNGOs request within the deadline.
 
In the case the obligation has not been completed referred to the item 1st and 2nd of the Article 10th of the Rules, to provide incorrect information, to spend the funds improperly  or non-completion of the provisions of the contract within the scheduled deadlines, the GOfNGOs has the right to terminate the co-financing agreement and request the refund with the attached statement interest.

Recovery of funds
 
Giving the funds are allocated based on the contracted amount by the GOfNGOs and the amount of the actual eligible costs on the project visible only from the approved Final Report, the GOfNGOs will determine the actual amount of co-financing after receiving the Final Report and its approval by the Contracting Authority.
 
If the amount requested by the Beneficiary or partner for co-financing received from the GOfNGOs according to the actual budget is higher than the percentage stated for each program in the Article 4 of the Rules, the GOfNGOs will request a refund of the difference of paid funds in relation to the percentage of co-financing determined by the Article 4.
 
The project Beneficiary or Partner will refund requested differences of funds to the State Budget within the 30 days from the request for refund is received.
 
If the co-financed amount requested from the Beneficiary or Partner and received from the GOfNGOs according to the actual budget is lower than the percentage stated for each programme in the Article 4 of the Rules, the GOfNGOs cannot allocate funds subsequently nor the Beneficiary has the right to request from the GOfNGOs the funds be paid afterwards.
